Socialism is government control over the private sector.
The clearest example of socialism in Nazi Germany is the government mandating who could and who could not own businesses.
The Nazis based their treatment of the Jews on the US Democrat's Jim Crow laws but even in the US antebellum south, free blacks could own businesses. Mix racial strife with socialism and you get Nazism every time.
